My name is Alexandria Sepulveda, and I am the Owner and Artistic Director of Art In Action!

My academic and creative journey began in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. In middle school I took my first theatre class and discovered a passion for the creative arts that would forever change my life. 

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I began my professional career in the theatre industry embracing diverse roles including Stage Manager, Elementary and Middle School Theatre Teacher, Production Assistant, and Production Child Supervisor. My experience with Teatro Vivo, a dynamic and inspiring nonprofit theatre company in Austin, TX, allowed me to expand my skills as their Media and Marketing Manager and Production Festival Manager. I have also had the privilege of facilitating several Summer Fine Arts Academies for Southwest ISD and Uvalde CISD, positively impacting young artists. My collaborations with esteemed theatres throughout San Antonio, Uvalde, Austin, and Dallas—including the Classic Theatre, The Magik Theatre, Cara Mia Theatre, Teatro Vivo, and the prestigious Dallas Theatre Center—have enriched my knowledge and deepened my passion for the arts. My varied background has equipped me with the skills to explore this new and exciting adventure in artistic education.

I am profoundly grateful to everyone who helped me along my journey, but I owe a special debt of thanks to my mother, Diane. Her unwavering encouragement of my dreams and presence at every performance have been the foundation of my success.
